Merge PDF

Combine two or more PDF files into one. Put the files in the order you want, then save a single merged PDF. Everything runs in your browser, so your documents are never uploaded.

Add at least two PDF files to start.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Choose your PDF files, or drop them on the box.
  2. Use the arrows to put the files in order. The first file comes first.
  3. Tap Merge PDFs and save the combined file.

About this tool

Merge PDF joins several PDF files into one document. It is useful when you need to send an application, bills, ID copies or assignment pages as a single file instead of many.

All pages from every file are kept in their original quality and in the order you choose. Nothing is re-compressed, so text stays sharp.

The merge happens inside your browser, so your documents are never uploaded to any server. Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged, so remove the password first.

Tips and common problems

Common questions

How many PDF files can I merge?

There is no fixed limit. Very large files use your device memory, so on a phone it is best to merge a few files at a time.

Can I change the order of the files?

Yes. Use the up and down arrows next to each file. The merged PDF follows the order of the list.

Why did one of my files fail?

The file is probably password-protected or damaged. Remove the password in your PDF app and try again.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. Everything runs on your own device and your files are not sent to us.
