About this tool
HEIC is the photo format used by iPhones. Many phones, computers, websites and forms cannot open it, which is why you need a JPG copy that works everywhere.
HEIC to JPG converts your iPhone photos in seconds. Add one photo or many, convert, and save them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
The conversion runs in your browser, so your photos stay on your device and are never uploaded.
Tips and common problems
- Why is it HEIC? iPhones save photos as HEIC because the files are smaller. Some websites, Windows apps and forms cannot open it.
- To get JPG straight from the camera, open iPhone Settings, then Camera, then Formats, and choose Most Compatible.
- Converting many photos? Do 10 to 20 at a time on a phone so the browser does not run out of memory.
- Photo too big after converting? Make it smaller with the Image Compressor or Image Resizer.
- Keep your originals. Converting makes new JPG files and leaves your HEIC photos untouched.
